I just realized I havn't made a Top Song List in a while. Since I have nothing better to write about - the exciting thing I did today was go to the grocery store ... o.0 - I thought I'd enlighten you with a super exciting post about what songs I just can't stop listening to lately. Woot woot! And I think I'll go so far as to give you the videos and links to lyrics and everything. Wow! You guys are special!

The Taste Of Ink - The Used

I've been super obsessed with this one lately. I took the time to really look into The Used lately, and discovered that I love a lot of their tracks from their older albums. I think In Love And Death (2004) may be my favorite The Used album so far. Anyway. This song is beautiful, and has such a great message. Take a listen:

Tears Don't Fall - Bullet For My Valentine

Another band I've recently taken an interest in; Bullet For My Valentine was one of the uncountable number of bands I've always wanted to listen to but hadn't quite gotten to yet, until now. Tears Don't Fall is a lovely song, and I keep pulling the video up on YouTube and listening to it because my sis won't buy the song for me off iTunes >.< I guess that's the problem with being broke and relying on your sis to finance your music obsession, I suppose.

Afterlife - Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold; another band I've always wanted to listen to. Afterlife is the first song of their's I've heard, and I can't get enough. It goes from hard-rock verses to a very melodic chorus, and it's one of those that just feels good to listen to; a very hopeful song in a non-traditional way. Watch the video (which is one-hundred-percent fantastic, by the way) and you'll know what I mean.

Believe Me, I'm Lying - Forever The Sickest Kids

On an iTunes shopping spree, my sister and I decided to take a listen to Forever The Sickest Kids just because we liked the name of their band. Turns out, their music kinda owns, too. Believe Me, I'm Lying ... I just like this song. Can't really explain why. No music video, sorry :(

PS Don't Write - Pencey Prep

A super fun song to just blare in your ears every once in a while. My sis and I (if you can't tell, she and I do most our online music shopping together ... sister bonding experience, no?) checked out this band because it was the band Frank Iero headed before going on to play guitar for My Chemical Romance. PS Don't Write is a cool song, and hearing Frankie sing for a change makes me smile :) No music video, but pretty entertaining slideshow of pictures instead.
